Juliett Castro
A spiritual companion offering support through life's transitions. She provides compassionate guidance, facilitates heart-to-heart conversations, and teaches Scripture using the Charles Simeon Trust approach.
About me
Juliett Castro is a spiritual companion and social worker whose vocation is shaped by lived experience, clinical formation, and a deep commitment to holistic care. Well acquainted with suffering, trauma, loss, and grief, Juliett’s own journey through the ashes of life has led her toward healing, faith, and meaning—forming the heart of her approach to accompaniment.
Her work is grounded in clinical training in spiritual care with the Université de Montréal (UdeM) and hospital settings including CHUM and CHUV, as well as formation through the Church via the Fondation du counselling biblique in Shawinigan, Québec. Through supervised clinical practice, Juliett developed skills in attentive presence, discernment, ethical reflection, and interdisciplinary collaboration, learning to listen deeply to the spiritual, emotional, psychological, and social dimensions of each person’s experience.
Juliett’s practice is further enriched by her professional experience in relation d’aide as a social worker. Working closely with individuals, families, and vulnerable women facing complex life challenges strengthened her integrative perspective—honoring the person as a whole: body, mind, spirit, and social context. Her accompaniment is trauma-informed, person-centered, and marked by humility, cultural sensitivity, and respect for each individual’s dignity, story, and rhythm.
Her spiritual vision is deeply shaped by Scripture. Inspired by Isaiah 6:3, Juliett understands life itself as holy ground—even in seasons of pain—trusting that God’s presence permeates all things. At the same time, the promise of Isaiah 61:3, where beauty rises from ashes and mourning is transformed, stands at the heart of her calling. These sacred visions inform her desire to walk alongside those navigating loss, transition, spiritual questioning, or a longing for renewal and reconciliation—with self, with others, and with God.
Juliett’s accompaniment is grounded in the STIV-RePer model, developed by Accompagnement spirituel in Lausanne (Switzerland) and CHUV. This equilibrated framework attends to the spiritual, emotional, relational, and existential dimensions of the human person while honoring inner resources and meaning-making processes.
Alongside her work in spiritual accompaniment, Juliett is passionate about studying and teaching the Bible using the Charles Simeon Trust approach, engaging Scripture with care to uncover its intended meaning and translate it into life-giving principles marked by compassion, grace, mercy, and a non-judgmental posture.
Juliett currently offers video sessions and telephone conversations, creating a safe and compassionate space where stories can be shared, suffering can be honored, and meaning can gently emerge. Whether someone is seeking support during a season of transition, clarity in questions of faith and purpose, or a space to pause and be heard, Juliett walks alongside with attentive presence, reverence, and hope—supporting healing, resilience, and transformation, even amid the ashes.
